This Privacy Policy explains how the Bowlie mobile application ("Bowlie", "the App", "we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use the App on Android devices. By using Bowlie, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information you enter in the App
Bowlie lets you add pet profiles, meal times, feeding logs and reminder settings. This may include your pet's name, type, photo (if you add one) and feeding records.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Bowlie is free and is supported by ads shown through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To show and measure ads, the AdMob SDK may automatically collect and process the following information:

Personalised ads and your choices
Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Bowlie asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can also reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads on some devices).
Device permissions
- Notifications – to send you feeding reminders at the times you choose.
- Alarms & reminders / schedule exact alarms – so reminders arrive on time.
- Internet / network access – used to load ads.
- Photos (only if you choose to add a pet photo) – the selected image is saved inside the App on your device.
You can turn off any permission at any time in your phone's settings. Some features, such as reminders, may stop working without it.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the pet and feeding data you enter, because it never leaves your device. Information collected by Google AdMob is processed by Google as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.
Data security
Data handled by the AdMob SDK is encrypted in transit. Your pet data is stored in the App's private storage on your device, protected by your phone's own security (screen lock, encryption). Please keep your device secure.
Data retention and deletion
Your pet and feeding data remains on your device until you delete it in the App, clear the App's storage, or uninstall Bowlie. Because we do not store this data on our servers, we cannot recover it once deleted.

Children's privacy
Bowlie is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at your-email@example.com and we will take appropriate steps.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. Since your pet data is stored only on your device, you control it directly. For ad-related data, you can use your device ad settings or contact Google. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
